there on the left are a little bit special.
She is a cindykid and he is a dragonrunt.
Nicknamed LMP&S this mischievous duo
were created for us by Cindy Dukino and they are the mascots for
the Newbold Challenge.
We have set ourselves a
fairly gentle target
of raising £30,000 for charity over the 10 year period
ending on 31 December 2015 but needless to
say we’d like to do a little bit
better than that if we can. We mainly
support one of the UK’s most famous
charities Children in Need but
others are a possibility from time to time.
We stand the full cost
of our fund raising activities ourselves
and all the
income we manage
to generate goes to the charities we are
supporting. Whatever we raise in a given
month gets donated around the end of that
month. Since starting the Challenge in 2006
we have managed to raise just over £20,000 towards our target thanks to
everyone who has supported our efforts so
far.
