1. The Trollkind are a warm blooded species
and have a natural lifespan of around 200
years.
2. They have
quite ugly faces with hooked or bulbous
noses, pointed ears and prominent chins.
Their skin is quite leathery and they are
prone to warts. Grey is the most common
skin colour but brown is also quite
commonplace and other colours are not
unknown.
3. They are an
incredibly hardy species and their bodies
will regenerate over time even after the
most horrific wounds or damage. As a result
they are virtually indestructible until
they die of old age. They eat and drink
absolutely anything including the flesh and
blood of their enemies and they are all
incredibly strong.
4. Their numbers
are very small and they breed very
infrequently. Males outnumber females by
roughly four to one and the females breed
just once at about the age of 150 producing
around 5 offspring at a time.
5. There are two
main sub-species the Trollgrim and the
Trollnarks.
6. The Trollgrim
have tall powerful gangling bodies and
often reach heights in excess of 7 feet
(210cms) tall. They rarely produce magic
users but when they do they are incredibly
powerful. You can see an example of a

7. The
Trollnarks are quite a bit shorter and much
more compact than the Trollgrim at around 6
feet tall (180cms). They produce a goodly
number of moderately powerful magic users
but very rarely produce any with great
