1. The Kush are a warm blooded species and have
a natural lifespan of around 35 years.
2. Their facial
features resemble those of many of the
animals and birds found on Earth. The range
of feather, fur and hide colourings is very
similar to those found on Earth.
3. Body builds
and proportions vary considerably between
sub-species and within each sub-species.
They are extremely athletic and are easily
the fastest moving of the two legged
species found in the Newbold World setting
up to around 30 years of age when they
begin to slow down.
4. They are a
reasonably hardy species that does not eat
the flesh of animals or birds. They do eat
the flesh of other species but mainly live
off fish, fruit, nuts and vegetables. They
drink only water.
5. Collectively
the Kush are extremely numerous breeding
two or three times between the ages of 5
and 10 and often having litters of four or
five offspring.
6. All the
sub-species produce moderately powerful
magic users and psi-adepts but they rarely
produce any of great talent or power.
7. The main
sub-species are listed below :-
a. Clan Chiba : Facial
characteristics resemble big cats, small
cats, dogs and foxes.
b. Clan Kiri : Heads resemble
birds.
c. Clan Skeet : Facial
characteristics resemble small woodland
animals.
d. Clan Zhorg : Heads
resemble apes, bears and other larger wild
animals.
