3. The Lords of Skoog
use their magic to create the
conditions that apply in the Game (such as
the equalisation of weapons from different
times and cultures). They do not use their
magic to aid their Game Characters or their
supporting forces in any way. The major
influence each Lord has on the outcome is
in the skill they exhibit in selecting the
best available Game Characters to represent
them.
4. In the very simple
Game of Skoog
Minor each Lord
selects a Battlemaster to represent him or her
and then leaves that Battlemaster to get on
with it!
5. Skoog Cards is based very loosely on the
process each Lord has to go through when
selecting the group of Game Characters that
will represent him or her in the Game of
Skoog Major. It is very quick and easy to
learn but requires large dollops of
intelligence, nerve and inscrutability
together with a tiny dash of luck to play
it successfully.
